When we are building a practice we should think about everyone in the homes well-being, that should include your pets. To help you build a pet friendly practice I have provided a list of 5 pet friend herbs you can add to your practice, along with their uses.
When it comes to using herbs in your practice around pets it is always best to do a plant infusion over using essential oils. The reason is, essential oils have a higher concentration that can be more potent if you don’t know how to use them correctly. This is why using infusions (boiling herbs in water and using that water) is best when working around your pets. Below you will find links to other resources to continue building your understanding towards a pet friendly witchy practice!
Basil – prosperity/ abundance, protection/ purification, love/ relationship
Thyme – protection/purification, courage/ strength, sleep/dreams, healing/health, fairy workings, psychic workings, love workings
